yay spacehulk is back. the models were sculpted for this box set only, however, there was the comment that one of the genestealers in the promo photos looks to have a manbag... i disagree, but then again...

just a reminder about tomorrow.
people attending the wedding need to look at being there at about 2 as the wedding starts at 2:30
you'll need a day ticket on the tram unless you are driving or being given a lift. its the blue tram route stopping at birley lane.
drinks are over the bar, we are only providing the drink for the toast.
food is a buffet meal, but if you want a carvery or puddings you can order these at the bar as well.

okay first of all, i've just watched this trailer and i just sat there thinking...

i've also seen the wolverine film...
if you love the comics and disliked the xmen films, don't watch it, if you aren't really bothered, then its an okay film.
outlander on the big screen, good but watching it on a tv or pc is just as good.

i went to see the watchmen tonight...it says a lot when you come out of the cinema discussion a trailer rather than the film.
then again this is the trailer:

i will advise people to go to the cinema and watch it yourselves. its a film you need to make your own mind up about.
some awesome sections and some very bleh sections, but thats my view.

however i have finally watched the saw series of films. i actually quite enjoyed them and wish that i had the interest in them from the beginning to have seen them all on the big screen. the best is the first one, the weakest is the 5th, but i do enjoy the way everything is set up...

okay... well its been a little while since i last updated.
been pootling around and doing stuff, seen a few films, quarantine is pretty good for an american remake...
but to the major news.
yesterday morning i slipped on ice outside my house. i thought i'd just banged or pulled something in my arm. went to work, bought some new shoes with some grips on the soles on the way. managed the day in pain, but it was getting worse, so at 4pm i went to the walk in clinic, got transfered to minor injuries and at 4:20 joined the queue...
7pm... finally saw someone, they did a few checks and sent me to xray the elbow.
7:15 get xrayed.
7:25 get told that it looks like i've fractured my radius ulna or something... basically it appears that i've fractured my elbow where my forearms join the elbow.
get an appointment at the fracture clinic at the northern general on thursday... one of the last 2 appointments i will add... this was tuesday night that this was booked, showed how much chaos the ice caused that day.
went to work today, they're cool with it all and wondered whether i should actually be in work at the moment. gonna find out at my appointment tomorrow, hopefully not, otherwise i may have to ignore my doctor and go to work anyway.
now heres the best part... its my right arm thats messed up...
queue a very depressed and annoyed ray...
i didn't realise how much this will hit me until late last night.
well i'm gonna drop off playing my pc games quite a bit now, but i'll catch up with all my reading and films i want to watch...
i hope this wont take too long to heal, turns out theres a lot i can't do with only my left hand... god that sounds dodgy...
